The IAA‘s Likhega India Mission 2025 is a nationwide movement to make India the Author Capital of the World—by helping 1000+ people write and publish their books between 8th November and 17th December 2025.
Today, India ranks #10 (as of 2018). So, right now it would have moved a few spots up in the world for the number of books published. Our goal is to propel India into the Top 5 by the end of 2026.
To achieve this, India needs to publish over 1.5 lakh books, which means 50,000 more books than what India typically publishes each year.
In the first phase of this mission, we are empowering 1,000+ aspiring authors to write and publish their books between 8th November and 17th December 2025.
